AI Transparency Database ("we", "us", "our") operates aitransparency.pages.dev. This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. We keep it simple because we don't collect much.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your email with third parties. We have no advertising partners with access to your personal information.

Data We Collect

Email Address

Collected only if you voluntarily subscribe to policy change alerts. Stored in Google Sheets. Used only to send update notifications. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing data@aitransparency.com.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (page views, referrer sources, device types). No personally identifiable information is stored. IP addresses are anonymized.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display contextual ads. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

We do not set first-party cookies. Third-party cookies may be set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense. You can opt out via your browser settings or Google Ad Settings.

How We Use Your Data

Email addresses are used exclusively to send policy change alerts for AI services you expressed interest in. We do not send marketing emails, promotional content, or sponsored messages to subscribers.

Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand which audits are most useful — helping us prioritize which services to audit next.

Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are located in the EU or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email data@aitransparency.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect access logs including IP addresses for security and performance purposes. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Subscriber emails are stored in Google Sheets via Google Apps Script. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
